9th Annual Rock & Worship Roadshow Lineup Announced

rockandworshiproadshowThe 9th annual Rock & Worship Roadshow, presented by Compassion International, has announced its official 2017 tour lineup. Award-winning and chart-topping artists Steven Curtis Chapman, Francesca Battistelli, Rend Collective, Passion, Family Force 5, Jordan Feliz, along with Derek Minor and Urban Rescue, will join together for Christian music’s most uplifting and entertaining concert experience for the whole family. Author and comedian, Tony Wolf, will be the guest speaker and Carlos Whittaker will serve as the tour’s host.

rendcollectiveA few years ago Rend Collective launched their Campfire series of albums, tackling a series of originals and covers in a raw acoustic atmosphere and it was awesome. A year or so later they applied the same treatment to Christmas favorites and it too was great. Now, with the release of Campfire II: Simplicity, the band is back at it again and the results are predictably great, leaving one wondering why the Collective would even bother with conventional studio recording again.

The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), a nonprofit that offers practical and spiritual help to persecuted Christians, has launched the “i am n” movement that has already generated over $5 million in aid for Christians who have been displaced by the self-proclaimed Islamic State known as ISIS. Now, VOM is partnering with Integrity Music and its parent organization, the 140-year old church resource provider, David C Cook, to help spread awareness of the plight of persecuted Christians around the world through a new i am n album releasing Feb. 12, and i am n book and curriculum releasing March 1.
