Mary Mary Drop ‘The Sound’ To Great Response

The Sound, which was released last week, now claims the top spot on Billboard’s Top Christian & Gospel charts. Mary Mary makes their highest debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart of all music, landing at #7. That also makes The Sound the week’s third highest debut behind AC/DC and the soundtrack for High School Musical 3.

The Sound also sits a top the Billboard Top Gospel chart. The chart success beats the duo’s #8 debut for their last studio CD, Mary Mary, which was released in 2005.
