The Wrecking Partner With ChildVoice International

ChildVoice International will be using a song from the up and coming pop/rock band for their “Voices Rising” campaign. The song “Sights & Sounds” is from the CD, A New Abolition, set for release August 19 from Universal Music.

ChildVoice International is a global Christian non-governmental organization (NGO) that raises awareness, promotes research, and creates effective, sustainable interventions in war-torn countries with local NGOs to assist children of war, restoring the voices of children who have been silenced by the horrors they have experienced. The children served by ChildVoice International and partnering grassroots NGOs include former child soldiers, children orphaned by war, and those left destitute by rebel activity.

“ChildVoice is excited to join hands with The Wrecking to mobilize ‘Voices Rising’ in the U.S. against the use of child soldiers around the world,” says Roger Proulx, Media Relations for ChildVoice. “The song ‘Sights & Sounds’ inspires the kind of transformation and healing that is needed for restoration to happen.”

The Wrecking’s first music video has just been released. A remake of the Peter Gabriel hit, the “In Your Eyes” video was directed by Jeff Kubach (tv series Survivor) and produced in conjunction with Love 146, a non-profit organization dedicated to the abolition of child sex trafficking and exploitation.
