StowTown Artists Score Big at the 2016 Singing News Fan Awards

stowtownStowTown Records was once again a big winner during the 2016 Singing News Fan Awards held Wednesday at the National Quartet Convention.

StowTown tallied six fan-favorite awards for the year, including The Collingsworth Family continuing their run as Favorite Mixed Group, and the talented and always popular Kim Collingsworth again being voted Favorite Musician.

Meanwhile, Triumphant Quartet maintained its position as the annual fan-favorite, once again being honored as Favorite Traditional Quartet.

In addition, the very popular Pigeon Forge-based group earned the Favorite Album award with its hit project, Living In Harmony, produced by StowTown Records co-founder Wayne Haun.

Capping off the big day for Triumphant, the powerful and inspirational “Amazing God”, written by Sue Smith, Lee Black, and Janice Crow, was voted as Favorite Song for the year.

Finally, Eric Bennett continued his fan-favorite run by again taking home the Favorite Bass honor.

The annual award ceremony took place for the third year at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN, during the popular Southern Gospel music week-long celebration.
